Meet Dr. South 

Our founder, Dr. Harlan L. South, MD, is an internist and your primary physician at Premier Wellness & Aesthetics Center. He graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University in Raleigh with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry in 1990. Dr. South earned his medical degree in 1996 from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, where he also completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine in 1999. He holds a certification in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy through WorldLink Medical.

Education is vital to him, whether with our clients or when speaking at seminars on bioidentical hormones, cardiology, or cognitive health. Dr. South previously taught as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. He currently focuses on aesthetic treatments and age management with a wide range of nonsurgical care. 

Dr. South’s military background taught him the love of helping others and he brings it to all our clients as he strives to help them live a healthy and happy life. He is an active reserve Colonel in the United States Air Force, where he also serves as Chief of Aerospace Medicine.
